What have I been up to?

1) We've been packing and painting and prepping for this massive move. We were going to be packing a Pod this weekend but we were able to get an extension on our paid move. Thanks goodness!

2) We had out first anniversary at the beginning of the month. We didn't do anything special. But then again, these days it's nice to just get to spend time together since we only get to see each other on the weekends right now.

3) Ivan and Sophie... They have their good days and bad. Some days I want to get rid of them both and some days they are so well behaved. Oh my rotten "children" what to do with them. I'm hoping that more time outside will help the little one behave a bit better.

4) I've gotten to a point where I just want to be done with this move. I want to be done packing. I want to know exactly where we're going to live. I want my husband back!

5) I think I've decided what I want my MSN to be in. For the longest time I was thinking pediatrics, but when I work in the hospital my most favorite place is Labor and Delivery. Such a miraculous place to be! Now I'm thinking Certified Nurse Midwife, and who knows maybe I'll go as far as a Doctorate. And the even better part is that I might be able to get my Masters on line! This is especially great because my options in Florida will be a bit limited.

6) Have you ever had that moment when you make a decision and you suddenly feel light and you know just how right it is and you know that no matter what you will reach this goal? That's how I'm feeling right now!

Project 52! Seventeen

Life is about Time Well Spent!

I really like this picture... I think I'm really going to like Instagram!

Yesterday I ran around town while making phone calls to cancel our POD, and fix our account with the cat's Vet. I also had to get a new starfish for one of our shrimp to eat since I finally found him again Wednesday night. When I got home I tossed my clothes in the drier and instead of doing dishes or any other cleaning I spent about 15 minutes sitting in the grass int he back yard letting Ivan explore! And yes, I'm the crazy lady who puts her cat on a leash, but if I didn't I think he might run away or at least I can pretty much guarantee that he wouldn't come inside when I was ready. Ivan doesn't mind the harness at all, but then again he always wears a collar and he likes the outdoors so much he will do anything to get a chance to explore! (I think I need to try Sophie and see how she does. As of now I don't need the harness and leash because she clings to me when we step outside and then won't leave my feet when I put her down. Plus the grass is rough and dirty and she's a bit of a Prima Donna!)

Life is Worth IT!

Sometimes it is totally worth it to drop everything, cancel all plans, and grabbing some caffeine just to go visit the love of your life for a weekend. Even if it's a really uneventful weekend spent watching Game of Thrones and then coming home to a disaster zone of a house (thanks to Ivan the terrible). Plus the drive is so much more fun with my new car!

Life is On the Move!

And that's only what we have packed....
And we're getting packing! My only question... How can we have so much packed and yet so much more to pack? The answer: We have way too much stuff for two people.

Life is LOVE!

Funny thing happened this week I was looking through my computer bag when I cam across some of our extra wedding invitations. I actually thought that I had trashed all of the extras (I save nothing), but had intended to save at least one. The funny part is that I found it about 3 days after our anniversary.

Life is about Making the Best of Any Situation!

After wrecking my car the hunt was on for something new, and better but not bank busting. I had my heart set on getting a car with a manual transmission like my old Honda , but finding one was a bit tricky especially since I was not able to drive half way around the country to get it and I needed it fast so that I could abandon the rental car. And I found this lovely 2009 BMW 3series only about 3 hours away in Dallas and the price it was unbeatable and unbelievable! Let me tell you, and autotrader are my very best friends!

When it comes to TV there are channels that I just loath! Lifetime is one of them. With shows like Army Wives that shows this whiny, disrespectful, fake, true, and false appearance of the life of a military spouse. It's not that dramatic unless you just like to stir stuff up. But anyway, there is this show called The Conversation, and I have been watching it while working out tonight. And can I say WOW! It's kind of amazing, and it's not just because of the celebrities. It's pretty inspiring, and I totally recommend it.

(On another note... I hope to have my missing Project 52 posts up tomorrow today.)

I know that I have been MIA for a couple weeks, but hopefully things will quiet down in a couple weeks. Between spending time with my husband, packing and picking up overtime at work, I don't have a ton of time to hang out on my computer. Add in to that trying not to strangle Ivan. Right now he is playing with a plastic bag behind the couch and it is raking my nerves. I swear that at this moment it's like nails on a chalkboard. I hate to admit it but everything he does so far this week makes me want to pull my hair out and toss him outside. Hmmm... Do you think my stress level is a little elevated? I feel like all the stress is pressing down on my chest...

I hope to post my forgotten Project 52's. But I don't think I'll be playing post catch up right now. The idea of trying to double post is daunting and I don't think that I have the time.

Hard to believe that this time last year I was back home relaxing and prepping for my first day of work as a Phlebotomist after a week long Caribbean Cruise! What I wouldn't give to feel that relaxed right now!

Good night blog world! I'm going to trash that plastic bag instead of trashing a certain kitten (BTW when is he supposed to stop being a kitten? I need him to mellow out!) I'm going to sneak in an upper body pull workout and then off to bed for me.
